Warming Socks: Increase blood flow and stimulate your immune system with Hydrotherapy

Updated: Feb 11, 2022

Hydrotherapy is the treatment of disease using water to apply hot and cold applications on different parts of the body to optimize the quality of blood while improving the efficiency of its circulation. Warming socks are very easy to implement in your own home and are beneficial for boosting immunity at the beginning of or during an infection, relieving overall congestion in the head, and promoting relaxation in the body. The socks are best put on right before getting into bed and leaving them on until they are dry the next morning. When the cold socks are applied on the feet, vasoconstriction of blood vessels occurs in that area initially causing blood to flow more readily to the rest of the body. As the feet quickly become cold, the body must then go back to work in order to correct the imbalance. Blood vessels in that area will then vasodilate, bringing more blood flow to the feet warming them back up. This results in an increase in circulation throughout the whole body, which increases exchange of nutrients and elimination of cellular waste products. Overall, there is a cleansing effect in the body over time and an improvement of the quality of blood by an increase of circulation of red blood cells and white blood cells. The warming sock treatment can have a gentle tonifying benefit to the whole body and is safe for adults and children alike.

Health Benefits of Warming Sock treatment:
